  You want the same participants week to week, and you'll show up for them.

• Plain talk

  You explain things simply, listen more than you speak, and write notes people can read.

• Judgement

  You know when to step back and let someone do it themselves, and when to step in.

• Respect

  You'd be comfortable if the participant's family read every note you wrote.

• ✓Manual handling certificate, where the role needs it
